One of the tools that I keep in my self-care toolbox is Yoga! I have been practicing yoga on and off for over a decade. Since moving to France, I started practicing a lot at home on my own and I ended up getting injured. After recovering, I decided that the way to better advance my practice and learn to do the postures safely and correctly was to go through yoga teacher training courses. I now have certifications to teach both adult and child yoga.
In addition to learning about anatomy, breathing techniques, and postures, what I also discovered is that I actually love teaching yoga! My goal in teaching yoga classes is to help my students learn to become more calm and self-accepting, but also to have fun!
