Being an adult is hard work! You never expected life would be postcard perfect…

but you definitely thought it would be easier than it currently feels!

You wear many hats. You’re a wife, mom, sister, daughter, employee, boss, ….

(or maybe you’re a husband, dad, brother, son. I work with men too!)

Each of these roles places huge demands on your time and leaves little time for being YOU.

As a result of all this juggling, you feel at your wits’ end! You’re exhausted, frustrated, burning out.

You love your family but, honestly, you crave alone time and silence. And, even after the kids go to sleep, instead of relaxing, you end up pushing yourself to “get a few more things done” before heading to bed, completely drained, and not looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow.

You’re overloaded. You’re so busy trying to make everyone happy but, inside, you’re barely holding it together.  You used to be great at multi-tasking. What happened?

You know you could use some help, but you feel guilty asking for it.

Most of the time, you are truly grateful for the life you have created. But, in those tough moments, when the pressures of work and home build up, you wonder how you ended up here and you just want to pack your bags and run away!

But too many people are counting on you. So you keep pushing, each day getting closer and closer to your breaking point.

If only you could just let go of all that stress and overwhelm!

You wish you could wave a magic wand and create enough hours in the day to get all the important things done and still have time to relax.

You’re ready to feel more calm and confident in the face of multiple demands for your time.

You can’t wait to say “no” without feeling guilty that you’re letting someone down. You’re dreaming of being able to fall asleep calmly, no longer worrying about the all things you forgot to do today or trying to remember all the things that need to be done tomorrow.

You’re excited to have more energy. You wouldn’t lose your patience with others so easily. You could feel more connected and be more playful with your children and partner.

You’re ready to start making more time for yourself. What will you do? Chat on the phone more or get together with friends? Go out dancing or to the movies with your partner?  Or would you stay home to read a book or take a bath?

You’re ready to stop being your own worst critic, to stop feeling overwhelmed by all your responsibilities, and to start caring for YOU the way you care for others.

I’m here to help you do just that! I work with busy, exhausted moms, like you, who want to let go of the guilt and exhaustion so they can stop feeling crappy and start feeling more calm and connected in life.

Together, we will find small, simple ways to get you through the difficult days! You’ll reclaim your sense of sanity and stability in life even if the chaos continues around you.

The Unleash Your Inner Child program will help you:

  • Identify and prioritize the balls you juggle so you feel more in control of your to-do lists.
  • Experiment with self-care strategies and create good habits so you can get through the inevitable bad moments with calm and confidence.
  • Quiet your “Inner Critic” and change the negative messages you’ve been telling yourself into words and actions that are supportive and nurturing. This is what you do for your children every day, right? Now you will learn how to do it for YOU!

All this in a Safe, Confidential Space with someone who understands and will not judge you.

This program includes:

Busy Adult Questionnaire: Prior to our session, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire about your daily responsibilities and roles and how they make you feel. This will help us tune in to your specific concerns and needs so we can make the absolute most of our time together. And, since writing it down will get it out of your head, you may find yourself feeling focused and ready to take action

Unleashing Your Inner Child Coaching Session: In this 90 minute session, you’ll get unconditional encouragement and support as we clarify and prioritize your responsibilities. We’ll also identify small, simple changes that you can make to decrease your stress levels during chaotic moments of the day. At the end of your session, you will have a Personalized Survival Plan that is filled with fun, stress-busting and confidence-boosting actions. With this plan you will be on your way to creating consistent self-care habits without feeling guilty so you can feel more calm, enjoy more energy, and have more patience with the people in your life.

Catching-up Call: Three to four weeks after your Survival Planning Session, we’ll get together for a 30 minute follow-up call so to see where you’re Sanity Meter is at. During this session, we can make any needed adjustments to your Survival Plan, so you can feel confident that you’re going in the right direction.

Life is, and always will be, a rollercoaster. It’s unpredictable. But with support and making small and consistent changes to your routines and mindset, you can learn to overcome the overwhelm and enjoy the ride.

After the program, I realised that I deserve and need self-care. I also realised to look at self-care differently: some things I take for granted as something I have to do for me (like rest when I am sick, or eat cereal because I fancy that or don’t have the energy to cook) is actually self-care too. Marisa helped me to realise that I really am doing self-care.

I learned new ways to take better care of myself! The tools Marisa shared are very helpful to organize this process, since it’s really easy to get distracted with other tasks… I look forward to committing more time and effort to keeping my priorities straight!
