For struggling entrepreneurs… You are not alone!

I don’t run away from my feelings and I do try to be honest and vulnerable in this blog and on social media. But, the truth is, that there is still a lot that I don’t like to share. Especially when it comes to opening up about my biz-building struggles.

Living on the expat planet has not been an easy ride. On almost a daily basis for over 8 years now, I have to push through moments where I feel so outside of my comfort zone culturally and linguistically (my mom would call this karma after years of teasing her as a kid about her accent!) I try to be honest but there are definitely things I do not share. And trying to build my life here as a confident, independent woman who likes to feel prepared and knowledgeable before taking any leaps has been anything but easy.

I didn’t know the French system.

I didn’t know the technical words in French.

And, until recently, I wasn’t even sure who to ask for help or what questions to even ask! (I’ve since found a really great FB group for female expat entrepreneurs living in France).

So, it may not surprise you to hear that I have had almost ZERO confidence to get out there and grow my business. As much as I want to help people. As many ideas as I have had on how to do that. I have felt isolated, confused, overwhelmed!

But, after a lot of struggle, a lot of giving in to my inner critic and beating myself up, after a lot of mistake-making, and a lot of avoidance, I finally feel like I am on the right track!

And, in large part, it is because of my business mentors. Women like Jenny Shih, who has inspired me with her drive, support, and honesty. My business is growing now because of the confidence that I have gotten from working with her. Jenny doesn’t just teach the certain steps to take to get the most out of your time and effort, but she helps you dig deep into your mindset so that the changes you make become sustainable.

After finishing Jenny’s Make It Work Online, I am working through Get Your First 1000 Subscribers program and I am absolutely loving it! Jenny gives you a step-by-step, easy-to-follow action plan for finding and reaching out to people who are interested in YOU and want to engage with you. This program has not only clarified for me what I need to do (super important if you, like me, are a “tell me what to do and I’ll do it” kind of person), but Jenny has given me the confidence to go out and do them!

I so believe Jenny and her programs that I wanted to share my experience with anyone who will listen. When Jenny offered me an affiliate link, I didn’t have to think twice about it because I would (and have been) totally promoting her for free to all my entrepreneur friends. Now, I’m putting it on my site so it is easier for others to find out about.

If you are struggling to grow your business, with all my heart, I believe this program will help you get through some of your overwhelm – which is why I am sharing it. If you are looking for support in growing your business, check out Jenny’s First 1K Subscribers offer. She has some incredible bonuses this time around (frankly, I’m a bit jealous!)

Can’t wait to hear what you think!
